More catch-up

Started this project last year shortly before we returned to the states.  I started sanding a scuff coat for some touch up varnishing of the brightwork, and knew these corners were bad.  I was hoping I could fill them with thickened epoxy, but this one was really bad. So off it came, and of course the glass cracked in the process.  We got replacement scratch resistant lexan and some new teak in Socal and once again used my buddy's garage in Huntington Beach to mill the teak parts for a new frame.  That's about as far as I got before we left. as it sits for now Which leads to the next project.  Thinking that I would magically complete the new frame and finish this project "right away", I didn't have all the sealant in as per the above photo, and of course it leaked.  And dribbled.  And pooled in the headliner.   Right above the VHF.  And onto & into it.  It  died.  Not too big a deal since we weren't pla...
